We are pleased that you have chosen to worship with us.  We exist as a church to Connect People to God, Others and Service.  No matter where you are in life we believe God has a purpose for you.

What is not possible and what is possible in your life?  Interesting question isn’t it?  As children, we are sure that anything is possible.  The reason that children think that way is because they have not lived long enough to become cynical.  It is sad but true: the longer we live it seems the more cynical we become. This morning, in our series called, “The Wild Goose Chase” I would like to suggest to you that as Christ-followers, the progression of our lives should be different.  As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we should have more and more confidence that with God all things are possible. However, for most of us, our cynicism creeps in and we believe the opposite.  Today, we are going to talk about the cage of assumptions.  This is the thought that we just naturally assume that things are not going to work out.  As we look at the life of Abraham we will find that this is exactly what he and his wife, Sarah, thought.  What they found out and what God wants us to know is that he is faithful and He can and will do far more than we could ever imagine.
